Farm adjunct/calf Rearer:Job description:Farm adjunct/calf RearerPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($23-$24)Job location: Waimakariri Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: Limited practice Necessary Listing Added: 05/07/2022 We are a well-oiled machine that needs an extra pair of hands for about 5 months from August through to January. We milk our beautiful 900 cows through a 40 bail rotary The right person for us will need to come with a can-do attitude, be fit and ready to get stuck in. You must have a strong work ethic and be reliable. We want you to fit right in with us so being personable and a team player is also essential. You will be working alongside our 5 full time staff. We would prefer you to have some practice so you can come in and hit the ground running, helping with calf rearing, milking and general farm tasks. We expect you to take the same pride in our animal welfare as we do. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on practice This is a drug free farm, and we prefer no criminal records as most of us have young children and we like a safe and healthy environment for everyone to enjoy. Located very close to Oxford and only 20 mins to Rangiora and 30 mins into Christchurch centre makes Information technology an ideal location for everyone. Single quarters $100 per week Skills:
