Script to Screen helps to build the filmmaking community through our regional storytelling workshops, evening TALKS and our annual two-day conference the Big Screen Symposium. About the function We are pursuing a part time employee who will play an integral function in the finances, data management and funding reporting for Script to Screen. The position is 25 hour (potentially school hours) spread over 5 days a week, and you will work alongside theteam in our office in Morningside, Auckland. KEY TASKS & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Financial » Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable » Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards » Manage Payroll » Manage IRD returns including GST, WHT and PAYE » Prepare the year end performance return » Assist with the year-end auditor queries » Work with the ED preparing annual budgets » Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Board » Resolve general financial queries Office Admin » Log feedback and demographic statistics from our Development Programmes, Workshops and Events » Maintain these master spreadsheetsto ensure the integrity of the data » Manage Office Health and Safety requirements » Keep office supplies stocked » Book flights and accommodation for participants, mentors and speakers » Process applications for distribution to readers and assessors » Keep SharePoint andOneDriveelectronic files in order Funding and Reporting » Drafting funding and applications » Preparing cost reports and statistical reports for funders and sponsors General » Pitching?in?to?keep the work environment clean and tidy? » Assisting as needed to ensure Script to Screen meets its obligations Programmes used in this function includeMicrosoft Office 365 -especially Excel,Xero,Calxa Bookkeeping practice is essential, and an knowledge of the screen industry could give you an advantage.
