Service & Installation Manager
Auckland
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and hands-on Service & Installation Manager to join my client's team and drive service and efficiencies to achieve their goals.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will work closely with the team of Service Technicians and Service department to ensure their customers' needs are met through following areas of responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
   » Manage Service & Installation Business of NZ and the Service Technicians & installation contractors in conjunction with achieving set KPI'S and SLA's
   » Manage the team of Service Technician & Subcontractors across Auckland & Christchurch
   » Minimum 30% of this role will be spent out on the road, driving productivity with a hands-on approach
   » Manage and direct Service Technicians and Service Sub-contractors daily work plans
   » Take service calls and keep customers informed of progress
   » Facilitate quoting & invoicing
   » Manage induction of Technicians as per AAES process & procedures
   » Manage Technicians' certifications to ensure compliance
   » Facilitate the development of strong, profitable, business and sustainable relationships
   » Drive health and safety to achieve compliance requirements
   » Sound understanding of industrial Door and Docking and AAES business
   » Develop efficiency strategies of the Service & Installation Teams
   » Work closely with the Service Administrator in achieving revenue
   » Monitor field operation & installation costs in line with the company's profit and loss
   » Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience:
   » Experience in a similar role for at least 3-4 years
   » Experience in the building & construction industry highly desirable
   » Experience in project management an advantage
   » Understanding of service business i.e.. maintenance process and technical understanding including product knowledge
   » Technical know-how including product knowledge and competitors' products
   » Adept with WHS laws and legislation, site inductions, customer audits, SWMS
   » Minimum Intermediate Excel knowledge, TSM an advantage
   » Physically fit, able to travel and must have current driver's license
   » Strong written and verbal communication skills
   » Organisational and Problem-solving skills
