You can see what products we manufacture at www.nzappleproducts.co.nz Job Description This job involves working directly with raw fruits in the manufacturing stage right through to packing and cleaning the equipment. Factory processing and factory cleaning are both important jobs and training are given for both. Factory cleanliness and personal hygiene play a significant function in our factory operation. Requirements · Be a New Zealand Citizen or a New Zealand Resident or hold a valid Work Visa. · You must be able to work for a minimum of 3 months. · You must be reliable and have good personal hygiene habits. · You must have your own transport & have proper accommodation (no living in cars/or freedom camping). · Physically fit to complete tasks as you will be standing, lifting & moving equipment. · Good communication expertise · capability to follow instructions · capability to work in harmony with other members of staff · A positive attitude and a desire to work are essential Job Details Work Location & nbsp; 493 Central Road, Lower Moutere, Tasman (15 minutes from Motueka) Start Date ; Immediate Finish Date ; Season finishes on/or about December 21st 2022 or when we run out of fruit Hours of Work 1) Factory Processing: - 5 to 6 days a week. Monday to Saturday 7:00 or 8:00am to approx. 4:00pm (a day off during the week may be given) Average factory processing hours per day is 6.5 – 7 hours depending on process being done. 2) Factory Cleaning: - 2 to 3 nights per week. Monday to Saturday approx. 4:00 pm (or after factory finishes, for 2 to 2.5 hours depending on task assigned) Weekly rosters are placed on a notice board before the new week starts. Please Note : We prefer candidates to be able to work as a factory worker and cleaner but will consider hiring factory cleaners on a standalone contract.
