Presented annually, the 18-day event celebrates people and culture, and show-cases the cultural diversity and vibrant energy of Auckland. As Technical Administrator you will work closely with the Head of Technical and Production to provide high level administrative support for the Technical Department. This includes managing the technical department's finance and human resource processes, preparing production documentation, assisting with resource provision for festival events, and liaising with venues and suppliers. The function is also responsible for managing the on-site technical office during the festival. The Technical Administrator function is a fixed-term position, ideally commencing part time mid October 2022, then becoming full time in the new year until April 2023. this function is a key member of the Technical Department and would be best suited to Somebody with arts administration, stage management or some production management practice who is seeking an opportunity to work in a festival environment across a diverse range of projects.
