K?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function Te?Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington is currently seeking an Emerging M?ori Writer in Residence for three months in the first half of 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for emerging M?ori writers in Aotearoa. Applications are invited from M?ori writers in all areas of literary activity, including drama, fiction and poetry (page and performance), devised performance, creative nonfiction, graphic novels, etc. Projects may be written in English or te reo M?ori. There is a writer’s stipend of $15,000, a space to write and creative support.
