K?rero m? te t?ranga – About the function We are seeking for two Pasifika Engagement Advisers to join the Pasifika Student Success team. This team of six Advisers is within the Office of the Assistance Vice Chancellor Pasifika. The functions will be located in the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation. These are high profile functions in which you will help the University to achieve its commitment to improving results for Pasifika students by increasing student engagement and ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed and complete their course of studies. You will work with the assigned Faculty using established methods of holistic support practices and academic support programmes. ? p?manawa – About you We are seeking for candidates with high levels of cultural competence and understands the challenges of completing a degree. Your expertise of the challenge of studying, coupled with your practice in dealing with Pacific cultural issues will make you ideal for this position. Strong communication expertise and flexibility are key success factors in these functions. You will also require a significant tertiary qualification.
