We’ve got a new and unique opportunity for an emotionally smart, humble, and results focused Engagement Partner, to help us better communicate and market our injury avoidance programmes.
Injury can have life-changing impacts – for those who are injured, their wh?nau and society. Around 90% of injuries are not random events. They’re predictable and therefore preventable. Yet, ACC sees 5,000 injury claims per day. That’s around 2 million claims a year.
We want to reduce this number, while giving everyone in Aotearoa the freedom to keep doing the things they love, with the people they love. Your function will help us deliver this through high impact communications and marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives that raise the profile and value of our injury avoidance programmes.
You will be a senior member of the Customer Partnerships team, which acts as the ‘front door’ to the wider engagement team. You will partner with our Injury avoidance wh?nau to understand the results they are looking to deliver – and identify the highest-impact priorities for the wider communications and marketing team to take on and get delivered.
This will require you to develop and maintain positive relationships that enable you to push back when requests for support conflict with high-impact initiatives delivering the greatest value for our customers. As such, you come into your own when influencing others, building cross-functional relationships, and balancing priorities among different teams.
You’ll be confident in knowledge and aligning your work with business strategy and talking to senior leaders across the business who work together to deal with business problems. You’ll be able to articulate the function that engagement, marketing and communications has in ensuring customer results are met.
You will also bring practice of leading project teams, and will play a key mentoring and coaching function for our team of communications and marketing advisors, and broader Injury avoidance leaders.
