Looking for a Registered Nurse to work in a nurse led environment with oversite from visiting GP. You will be responsible for undertaking assessments that address the individual/whanau’s health needs/issues and at the same time respecting age, gender, religious and cultural needs of the individual. The service provided is confidential and free for all students. About the Employer : This organisation is a registered charitable trust who provide primary health care and community health services within the wider Wellington Region. Your responsibility: • To make a difference to how health services are delivered, improving access and empowering young people/rangatahi to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing • To be flexible and adaptable to various delivery settings with capability to meet the changing health needs • Health promotion and Health Education • To carry out HEADSSS assessments and other wellness assessments • To be aware of your scope of practice, resilient and able to work autonomously • To have excellent oral and written communication expertise/computer literate • expertise with sexual health, contraception and working with mental health issues (desirable) About you: • Good clinical expertise, practice and clinical assessment. • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication expertise and can work with a wide variety of people in a variety of settings. • Well-developed time management expertise and an capability to prioritise workload.
