He angit?tanga: The opportunity Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will be engaged in planning and delivering full-service marketing campaigns that will support the exciting events and shows presented and happening at Auckland Live. The position will also provide marketing support for our promoters and clients whose events take place in our venues which range from music gigs to comedy, orchestra concerts to theatre shows and festivals. He k?rero m?u: About you You're a planner, you're able to think creatively and deliver a marketing campaign, from social media and advertising to client management, you can stick to a timeline and are able to utilise a marketing budget to exceed ticket sales or key objectives. You have great relationship management expertise and the capability to build great foundations with a range of internal staff, venue clients, artists, and suppliers. You're up for learning something new and acquiring some exciting new expertise to add to your marketing talents. Desirable expertise: you're a storyteller and have good copywriting and proofing expertise and have the capability to think of creative and innovative new ways to attract people to the theatre and engage in the arts. You have a passion for the performing arts and the live event industry. You will need: At least two years' practice in a marketing/communications function or similar. practice planning and delivering time-lined and budgeted campaigns using a range of marketing channels. Sound administrative and organisational expertise including the capability to prioritise and manage projects effectively and deal with numerous projects concurrently. The capability to get ?stuck in' - tasks will include the management of printed show collateral and the venue signage schedule. The capability to establish an easy rapport with people, manage key relationships, and provide support for Auckland Live producers and a range of clients. An open and collaborative communication style. Tertiary qualification in marketing/communications or equivalent preferred and te Reo M?ori expertise and expertise plus an interest in the arts is desirable.
