Offer: Senior Advisor, Pay Equity:Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.In this function you will contribute to the Pay Equity Advice and Assurance team’s work programme. You will work as part of a dedicated team providing quality advice, information, resource and education to the government, agencies, businesses, and the community on pay equity claims and the pay equity process under the Equal Pay Act 1972. You will also be a key part of a growing work programme on the development of Te Orowaru, our pay equity work assessment tool and developing how this tool could be enhanced and used in different ways to change how work is described, evaluated and valued across the economy. To be prosperous you will support the provision of technically sound and practical advice on working through a pay equity claim and be able to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences. You will be an innovative and creative thinker with the capability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders within Te Kawa Mataaho and with external parties, including government agencies, union representatives, businesses and community leaders.
