About the function: » This is a Team Leader function and will suit a person with strong leadership abilities expertise and a drive for process improvement. tasks will include: » Payroll processing two fortnightly pay runs » Reviewing pay runs processed by the Payroll agent and Payroll Administrator » Processing all statutory calculations in line with legislation » Performing payroll audits and compliance checks » Responding to external requests from Courts, IRD, MBIE, KiwiSaver, ACC, Unions, Loan Companies etc as per legislation » Accurate month and year-end reporting » Providing technical leadership abilities and coaching » Remuneration & Payroll Manager through the performance management cycle (not sure if this sentence makes sense, seems to be missing a word at the start) » Supervising a continuous improvement programme for the Payroll process What's in Information technology for you: » Work with a house-hold brand who offers great career growth » great remuneration structure » Great team environment What you bring to the team: » You will have at least 8-10 years' practice in processing complex pay runs, including those with waged employees on variable hours » Excellent leadership abilities expertise » Sound expertise of NZ payroll legislation (word in this order) » practice using DataPay payroll system » This is a challenging and very exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level.
