Project CoordinatorLocation Palmerston NorthManawatu Job type Full Time Salary to Category Administration > Administration » 12 month fixed-term contract » Fabulous culture » Flexible working conditions Project Coordinator - Fixed Term 12 months Our client within the Healthcare industry is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join their Head Office based in Palmerston North. About the role This is an exciting time to join this organisation and be part of a significant programme of work. With a number of large organisational and technology projects underway, or about to commence over the next 12 months, this will be a busy role for someone up for a challenge. This role will support the Programme Manager and the Project Managers within the programme. With strong administrative skills, you will be able to help coordinate activities such as meetings, workshops, and reporting. With excellent communication skills, coupled with being organised and results-driven, you will be able to support the Managers with a variety of tasks including following up on agreed meeting actions to updating project documentation. With previous experience with core Microsoft products, you can competently work with Word, Excel and Powerpoint to draft reports and other documentation. Therefore, strong verbal and written communication experience will need to be demonstrated. You will also be able to quickly build strong functional relationships across all areas of the organisation. The key accountabilities you will be overseeing: » Managing document and information creation & distribution, report collation and communication support. » Maintaining the risk and issues register. » Taking minutes/notes of meetings and following up actions » Supporting the Programme Manager and Project Managers with administrative tasks What you will bring » Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Team Member role. » Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products. » Administration experience including note-taking, meeting coordination and task management. » Excellent administration skills, and able to operate independently. » Detail-oriented with the ability to take projects/tasks through to completion. » Strong organisational skills with the ability to successfully handle overlapping deadlines. » Knowledge of project methodologies would be an advantage.
