The function:
this function involves delivering quality compliance work, preparing annual accounts, tax returns and tax compliance for a variety of clients. You will develop strong relationships with clients, and address queries and issues as they arise with a solution-located approach. In this position, you’ll get to contribute to a high-performance team culture and support the development of others within the team. Although there is ample opportunity for collaboration within your team and the larger national team, you will also work quite autonomously. The interview process is pretty casual, nothing to stress about, with an office culture that is relaxed and has a laid back vibe about it.
About you:
- Must have practice working within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environment. Minimal practice is okay.
- Strong communication expertise
- Organised, efficient, with the capability to multitask
- Solution-located thinker
- capability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the team, but also have the capability to work autonomously.
- significant undergraduate degree or studying towards tertiary qualifications (accounting, finance, etc.). Or, qualified by practice.
- Competent and literate with a computerised accounting system (Xero, XPA, APS, MYOB, etc.)
