Offer: School Community Liaison Leader:Job description:Job DescriptionWe have a great opportunity for a School Community Liaison Leader to join our team. Working alongside the Principal and Senior leadership abilities Team, you will develop relationships between the school, wh?nau and key stakeholders in order to support student wellbeing and achievement. The school is focused on student?led learning and respect and appreciation for our cultural diversity. As the School Community Liaison Leader you will strengthen channels for the school to engage significantly with parents and wh?nau. We are beginning to build a community hub and you will play a key part in this initiative as you work closely with external agencies to facilitate access to a range of services for our children and their families.Our School Community Liaison Leader will need to have the following expertise and practices to make this function a success: » Social work processes and/or teaching practice » practice working with children and wh?nau » Proven track record in working with community engagement » Previous leadership abilities functions and capability to manage others » Confident in using digital platforms for record keeping and reporting – e.g. Google Suite and Databases » expertise of Maori Tikanga, Te Reo Maori If you have excellent communication, influencing, relationship building and engagement expertise, and have a resilient and flexible approach, then we want to hear from you.
