Located 90 minutes north of Christchurch. There are bus options to get from Christchurch to Cheviot township. Be a contributing member of our crew harvesting vegetables 5-6 days per week. Be a part of a friendly hard working team environment located in the beautiful coastal micro climate of Conway Flat, or amongst the hills of North Canterbury close to Cheviot. In some cases we do offer extra responsibilty and remuneration to step up and become a team leader. We are SSE approved employers. You must be available to start as soon as possible, and ideally must be able to fulfill a committment of 2-3 months (or at least commit to stay on if WHV / SSE visas are extended beyond the end of June), currently located in New Zealand, have an IRD number, NZ bank account, have reasonable English and be physically fit as the job is mostly outdoors and is hands on. Also must hold a current visa in which allows you to work in New Zealand. Since we are a 12 month operation, we allow people to work for 2-3months and then do keep an open mind to those who may wish to return after doing some travelling. Pay is inclusive of holiday pay provision. Nearby independent bunk style accommodation available for workers. Free transport is included within accommodation cost as well. Accommodation includes free internet/wifi, heating, cooking facilities, washing facilities. The transportation involves travelling to and from the accommodation to work and Cheviot for groceries. All wet weather gear, gumboots and PPE are provided and issued out on the day of induction.
