Steel Reinforcing ProcesserLocation Manukau & East AucklandAuckland Job type Temporary Salary 20 to 24 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » We are currently seeking machine operators based in the steel reinforcing industry to assist with the manufacturing of threading and processing of rebar. The successful candidate would ideally have previous machine operating experience ideally in the steel industry however specific training will be available to the right person. To be successful candidates must also have: » Have a high degree of reliability » Can pass a pre-employment drug screen » Able to supply two references. » Be very health and safety conscious Although these machines offer a high level of automation, candidates are still expected to complete manual handling tasks relating to loading and unloading the machines. The days for work are Monday to Fridaywith day or night shifts available. The role will start as a temporary position however offers great future prospect for the right candidate.
