To support the Ministry's purpose and drive effective delivery at an exciting time for the sector, we have a newly established function within Improvement Systems and Technology.
As a Network Services Manager, you will report into the General Manager Technology Shared Services and be supported by Technical Product Owners, Architects, Release Train Engineers and Agile standing teams within Information Systems and Technology.
The Network Services Manager is accountable for the overall operation of the Ministry's Telecommunications Infrastructure. You will lead, mentor and develop the Network Services team, whilst delivering high level services and products that will meet the current and future needs of the business.
Network Services are not only responsible for the design, build and implementation of existing and new solutions but also the continuing operation and management of the platform. Alongside enduring partnerships with vendors, as this is a delivery leadership abilities function.
To be prosperous in this function, you will bring previous practice in
   » Senior practice in leading a service function within a large and complex organisation
   » High levels of resilience and adaptcapability
   » Dealing with complexity at a senior level
   » practice in leading and shaping service performance relationships with vendors with the capability to build an effective team culture and establishing trusted partnerships Technical and operational expertise with practice in the development of network technology products
   » practice with Agile methodologies to deliver various technologies across multiple business units
Key responsibilities of the function
   » Managing suppliers to meet performance targets and to help foster prosperous results for the business
   » Provide valued insights and identify where changes are required
   » Facilitates business decision-making processes
   » Engages with the delivery teams to ensure that services are developed and managed to agreed service levels, security requirements and other quality standards
   » Develop and Tests continuity management plans and procedures to ensure they address exposure to risk and that agreed levels of continuity can be maintained

income range: $147,317.00 – $220,975.00
