Ko wai koe? – Who are you?
You will use your proven track record in teaching and researching in law, and also legal professional practice, is required. An LLB or JD degree or equivalent, and/or LLM with equivalent professional practice, as you educate and teach our students. You will be a clear communicator as you share and build your expertise from your research. Subsequently you will undertake postgraduate supervision as you assist our students through their academic journey.
Ideally you will hold or be enrolled to complete a PhD. Information technology will be essential that you have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, as well as being able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The prosperous applicant will be required to produce high quality research outputs in the discipline of law, and teach in a range of undergraduate and postgraduate law papers. Specific skills in the field of Pacific Peoples in the Law is essential. As is the capability to contribute research-led teaching in any one of the core undergraduate law subjects - Legal Systems, Public Law, Contracts, Torts, Crimes, Land, and Equity and Trusts. Teaching should be research-led, and the prosperous applicant will be expected to attract external research funding. Supervision of postgraduate students is also an important part of the function.
