Does the opportunity to influence the social workers of the future appeal?A permanent position has become available in Hawke's Bay on the beautiful East Coast of the North Island for a social work lecturer. EIT has developed an inquiry-located social work degree that works in close partnership with social service agencies to provide students with a balance between theory, self-directed learning and practice. We are pursuing to appoint a well-established, credible and passionate social worker on the Hawke's Bay campus to enhance delivery of this innovative and leading-edge social work qualification. Outstanding networking expertise will be required as you build on the already excellent relationships that we have established with social service agencies in the region. If you have limited tertiary teaching practice you would be well supported to develop the expertise needed. In addition a Master's level qualification or a social work bachelor degree with demonstrable, significant, and appropriate professional practice and eligibility to register or current Social Worker's Registration Board registration is required.
