As a member of the Strategic leadership abilities Team, working together to implement the strategies and policies of the Council, this function reports directly to the Chief Executive and is specifically responsible for the strategic planning for the district, Maori relations, elected member support and risk. Each function in the team has a focus on the future and is tasked with ensuring long and short term objectives are met. Exceptional people skills are a must for these functions to collaboratively shape and influence our people in meeting our organisational objectives.
