Role Overview: Join our team as a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role, you will be a pivotal force in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions, overseeing their seamless integration into our projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional outcomes within established timelines and budgets. Hours: 45pw with FLEXIBILITY - hybrid working for that work life balance. Requirements: » Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. » Minimum 3 years of proven mechanical design experience, ideally within a relevant industry. » Proficiency in CAD software, like Solidworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent. » Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating intricate requirements into ingenious design solutions. » Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. » Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring precision and accuracy in design documentation. » Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently. » Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies. Responsibilities: » Leverage your strong technical prowess to engineer mechanical systems aligning with customer needs and industry benchmarks. » Create detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings using top-tier software (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD), considering manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. » Undertake comprehensive feasibility studies and assessments to gauge the viability and performance of proposed designs. » Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders to comprehend project objectives, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth project flow. » Maintain effective communication with clients to gather design specifications, address queries, and offer updates throughout the design and development phase. » Manage projects, oversee progress, and identify potential risks or challenges, implementing tailored solutions to uphold project schedules and deliverables. » Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance design capabilities and optimize project outcomes.
