The initiative will deliver a wide variety of integrated data evidence and tools which will transform how climate data is used in every-day personal decision making for iwi/M?ori, property owners & local businesses, and to develop government policy. The Climate Data Initiative team needs a creative and agile business intelligence developer to build climate data tools which bring climate data insights to life and support on-the-ground climate action and institutional decision making. M? te t?ranga mahi | About the function The mission for the BI developer is to tell climate data stories which make climate data insights accessible and comprehensive. You will work with our data scientist, UX/UI design lead and product manager to design and build data tools which speak to every New Zealander. You will help transform and digest raw emissions, geospatial, and socio-economic data into rich visuals and products which help every New Zealander reduce their emissions, manage climate impacts, and adapt to future climate change. We are seeking for an practiced BI developer who wants to their expertiseet to the next level by adding geospatial data to the mix. Day-to-day you will be managing the development and maintenance of climate progress reporting dashboards and geospatial risk assessment tools.
