ACC is increasing its investment to injury avoidance and implementing an ambitious Injury avoidance Strategy. We have a great newly created opportunity to join as our Procurement and Contract Lead,that sits within our Strategic Investment Team. In this function you will work collaboratively to develop and deliver the procurement and contracts management workstream for the Healthy Consensual Relationships (HCR)/Oranga Whakapapa (OW) programme. You will work closely with our Programme Leads to ensure that the project’s procurement and contract management workstream is well planned and aligned to any other procurement and contract management activities across ACC. Some of the important work you will be doing will include the following: » You will work to develop a comprehensive commissioning and learning approach for our programme of work that recognises the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and includes principles and ways of working in line with the Government social sector commissioning framework » Lead development of procurement plans, capcapability management frameworks considering the diverse needs of different communities and potential suppliers » Lead, guide and assist the project team to maximise best value from supplier spend, procurement activity, and expenditure What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function will include the following: » You have significant commercial or procurement practice, particularly social procurement » Proven practice in developing and implementing supplier management and portfolio management strategies to meet key performance requirements » You’ll have a sound knowledge and demonstrable practice of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle process, the Government Procurement Rules and best practice procurement » You are an exceptional influencer; you will need to have proven senior stakeholder engagement practice and excellent interpersonal skills » practice in project management, especially working in an agile environment » You will have a good knowledge of tangata whenua and Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how this applies to cross sector partnerships results. We offer an attractive income $112k to $140k depending on practice,plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies.
