Your skills will be used on projects across all clients and industries from design, project management, installation and maintenance of machine centres and equipment. Depending on your practice and what direction you want to develop in, there is opportunity to get involved in different work. The key factors include: » Working on your own or with a team – ideally being capable of running projects » General electrical maintenance » Upgrading and improving machinery » Break downs and fault finding - timely repairs to ensure minimal downtime » Reading schematics and knowledge components » Automation practice is an advantage but not essential The ideal candidate will: » Be a NZ qualified and Registered Electrician » practice in industrial maintenance work » Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to ensure quality workmanship » Be able to work unsupervised, run your own jobs and train apprentices » Have a clean full NZ drivers’ license » Be an all-round good bugger!
