Having achieved full organic certification in 2021, our philosophy is to nurture nature at every step and yield wines with exceptional purity, intensity and vibrancy. As testimony to our hard work, we were honoured with the accolade ‘2020 Organic Winery of the Year’ at the New Zealand Organic Wine Awards. Working in our dedicated Vineyard team, you will be doing a variety of jobs including pruning, bud/bunch thinning, vine training, planting, cultivating, weeding, netting and picking grapes. The work is predominately Monday - Friday, however there will be weekend work (both Saturday and Sunday) requested at harvest in March/April. You will need: » Your own transport for getting to and from work (10 mins drive from Cromwell) » Good eyesight » To be fit and healthy - Information technology is a physical job and you will be working outdoors during the winter » A positive, friendly attitude » Ideally be available to work atleast 30 hours a week practice would also be valuable, however full training and tools will be given so don't worry if you haven't worked in a vineyard before. You will need to ensure you have appropriate clothing for the environment (you will need nice warm thermals in winter and a sunhat in summer!)
