Job Offer: Farm Work:Job description:Farm WorkPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($19 per hour)Job location: Methven Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: Limited practice Necessary Listing Added: 24/02/2021 We are seeking for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our team. The farm is located at the foot of beautiful Mount Hutt. We are 10 minutes from Methven and 60 minutes from Christchurch. The function involves assisting with the day to day running of our dairy farming operation, including moving break fences, feeding out, milking cows and general farm tasks. The position is for immediate start until June. The function requires: · An approved visa to work in New Zealand · A valid driver’s license · Good level of English and communication expertise · A positive attitude and sense of humour · Some agricultural practice and capability to drive a tractor and motorbikes will be an advantage We will pay an hourly rate ($19 minimum depending on practice). A small two-bedroom cottage is available. We run a 7 on 2 off, 7 on 2 off, 7 on 3 off roster. We really love having backpackers join our team and enjoy learning about their culture, as well as sharing our farming lifestyle. Skills:
