Industrial ElectricianLocation WellingtonNew Zealand Job type Temporary Salary 40 to 45 Category Engineering > Electrical & Electronics » Temp to perm opportunity » Work for a global production company » Immediate start available We currently have an opportunity for an industrial electrician to join a reputable company in Lower Hutt. This role is suitable for individuals with engineering experience who can perform electrical work. Shifts are on-going full-time Monday to Friday 2PM - 10PM with paid breaks as well as shift and meal allowances, an opportunity to secure a permanent contract will be available for the right person. Requirements: » 3+ years experience as an industrial electrician » Experience with industrial control systems, fault finding, installations and VSD units » Experience with planned maintenance programs and PLCs is advantage » Any relevant qualifications or experience Responsibilities: » Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment » Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment » Collaborate with team members to meet assigned deadlines » Preventative maintenance programmes » Coordinating with other departments on site to maximise equipment efficiency and minimise down time All applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Ministry of Justice Check.
