Job Opportunity: Planning Performance Lead (Finance) 6 Months Fixed Term:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description»Fixed-term opportunity until 30 June 2022»Wellington located Due to some internal movement, we have an opportunity in our Performance and Planning team. The team is responsible for coordinating ACC’s strategic and business planning cycles, performance analysis and non-financial reporting, developing and delivering ACC’s key accountcapability documents, and managing ACC’s accountcapability relationship with its monitoring agency, the Treasury. About the function You will be responsible for leading ACC’s business planning cycle and implementing ACC’s strategy through business planning and performance accountcapability frameworks. Key focus areas and results during the period are as follows: » Performance reporting (to Board and Minister) » Corporate planning for 2022/23 including ACC Business Planning, Service Agreement, measures and targets, supporting Budget process » Statement of Intent 2022-2026 » Preparation activities for the Annual Report 2022 To do this, you’ll proactively manage strong internal engagement to ensure the development of integrated enterprise, business group and functional business planning strategies – engaging our leaders to ensure they are clear on ACC’s strategic direction and provide advice on complex and emerging planning and performance issues. What we’re looking for To be prosperous you will need significant breadth and depth of practice in developing and delivering strategic business planning, performance management and reporting approaches and frameworks. You will have strong business, conceptual and critical thinking expertise and strong analytical capability, including applying and adapting significant frameworks and tools. You will be able to convey complex information to diverse audiences and have excellent writing and verbal communication expertise. You will be able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders and build credibility quickly.
