The farm has 800 cows on a Bail Rotary shed. Start date negotiable There is accommodation provided but this function will only be appropriate for someone travelling alone. No families can be accommodated sorry. This is a family feel farm and looking for someone that will be comfortable sharing space with the Farm Manager and his wife. They are hoping for someone that wants to go traveling and exploring with them on their days off and enjoys trying different types of food. Although some practice would be great, they will look at the right attitude and train the person for the tasks that are needing to be done. Having your own vehicle will be a bonus. This is a barn located function. Minimal outdoor farming. They do split calving. You dont need motorcycle practice to be considered for this function. Your main tasks will involve calving, calf rearing and milking cows. You must be elgible to work in New Zealand. Visa support will be given to those that have practice, but open to Working Holiday Visa/SSE with no practice and can support when required. Pay will be negotiated base on practice. You must reside in New Zealand to be considered for this function.
