Job Description

Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
Within Te Kawa Mataaho is the Organisational Capcapability and Performance (OCP) group, which is focused on enabling the Commission to deliver and perform at its best.

Working within the close-knit People Team and alongside the leadership abilities Development Centre, you'll champion, develop and implement learning and development approaches that support Commission's strategic direction and desired culture.
In this function you will have the opportunity to:
   » Source development opportunities and solutions to meet individuals and organisational capcapability needs
   » Grow and build professional networks and relationships
   » Influence and advise on learning and development best practice and approaches, and contribute to Te Kawa Mataaho internal strategies to support best practice
   » Support the development of Te Kawa Mataaho's M?ori Crown Relationship capcapability and the delivery of Te Angit? (our M?ori Capcapability Strategy)
   » Work in partnership with the leadership abilities Development Centre on initiatives that have impact across the Public Service.
We are seeking for someone who is:

To be prosperous in this function, you will be a highly skilled learning and development practitioner, with in-depth expertise of best practice learning and development. You will have strong interpersonal and relationship building expertise, with the capability to plan, prioritise, and organise work to deliver results.
The function is primarily focused on providing advice and guidance to internal staff and managers on development needs and brokering solutions to meet these. We are open to part-time or full-time employment, with the potential to also work alongside the leadership abilities Development Centre to deliver projects that impact across the Public Service.

This position usually pays between $98,200 to $115,700 depending on expertise and practice.
