Anaesthetic tech or RNAA

About the function
Christmas and New Year shut down! The anaesthetic service runs primarily Monday to Friday, with some weekend lists, between the hours of 0630 to 2030. Shift patterns are 8 or 10 hrs (offering staggered starts) and rostering is flexible for permanent staff. As an practiced and qualified anaesthetics practitioner you'll have access to excellent education, gain your ACLS qualifications, be part of patient transfer and resuscitation teams as well as keeping up your cannulation expertise - both in the OR and on the wards. Staff are provided with a supportive team environment and positive leadership abilities. A range of specialties including general surgery, cardiac, neurosurgery, orthopaedics/spinal, gynaecology, plastics, urology, head and neck surgery, mean you get varied and exciting work.
 
About you
   » Hold (or be eligible for) registration with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ or be a Registered Nurse with strong Anaesthetics practice.
   » Minimum of 3 years recent practice
   » Exceptional clinical expertise and expertise
   » Outstanding communication expertise
   » The capability to cope with a busy and ever changing fast-paced environment
   » The flexibility to work a variety of rostered shifts.
