Farm adjunct- Lambing:Job description:Farm adjunct- LambingPayment: Paid Position ( $20 -$24 - practice and accommodation dependent)Job location: Near Ranfurly Region: Otago/Queenstown/Wanaka practice: Limited practice Necessary Contact: 02040119279 Listing Added: 14/09/2021 We operate a Sheep and Beef farm (in a relatively remote and attractive location in Central Otago) with a mix of traditional and non-traditional farming practices. We are seeking for someone to work primarily with sheep and assist with lambing. Assistance with other tasks around the farm and homestead may be required if time . A level of physical and strength= is required along with some practice with sheep /other animals, be a quick learner and able to operate independently if necessary. If have your own accommodation eg van or campervan that's great. Should you need accommodation we will be able to obtain a caravan for your use or alternatively you could stay in an old and relatively primitive homestead (with character and great bones and awaiting restoration) with one or more of the family..
