Job Opportunity: Senior Data Manager:HainesAttractJob description:Job Description0.6FTE to 1 FTE – Permanent – Wellington-locatedThe Health Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) is seeking to recruit an practiced Data Manager to supervise and guide the Commission in the development and use of data systems. You will discover and promote efficient ways to move, organise, store and handle data with attention to security and confidentiality. You will participate in the design and implementation of sound data management processes across all aspect of the data lifecycle within the Commission. The NZ Health Sector is also about to commence a significant and exciting period of change to better position for NZ’s future health needs. The Commission will need to be well integrated and aligned to the new health landscape especially in relation to the design and establishment of appropriate data standards and data handling processes. As Data Manager, reporting to the CFO, you will use your practice to guide the Commission in the development and use of data management systems and processes, and to help the Commission take a positive function in the future NZ Health Sector reforms. The Commission is a stand-alone Crown entity with a Board responsible to the Minister of Health.
