As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the nursing team to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered. Your leadership and clinical expertise will be key in maintaining the well-being and dignity of the residents. You will work collaboratively with the Care Home Manager and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
   » Manage and lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
   » Oversee the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
   » Schedule and assign daily duties for nursing staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
   » Participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance care standards.
   » Ensure safe administration of medications and educate staff on medication management and potential side effects.
   » Maintain up-to-date clinical records and ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and facility policies.
   » Act as a primary point of contact for residents and their families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
   » Support ongoing training and professional development for nursing staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
   » Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate.
   » Minimum 3 years experience
   » Experience in aged care or a related healthcare setting.
   » Strong leadership and team management skills.
   » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   » Ability to make sound clinical decisions and manage complex situations.
   » Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and continuous improvement.
