We are seeking for a terrific copywriter who can develop smart, engaging and significant written content about the arts practices in the Festival to a range of target audiences. As Editor, you will use excellent attention to detail and organisation expertise to ensure publications and online content is delivered to deadline. Internally,the Copywriter/Editor will work closely with the Marketing Lead, Audience Development Lead, the wider audience and partnerships team, programming teams as well as other staff as required. Externally this function will work closely with Festival's creative and print suppliers. this function reports directly to theMarketing Lead. We are seeking for Somebody with a minimum of 3 years proven practice in writing, proofing, and editing persuasive, engaging written content for a variety of platforms and media with a focus on print publications. The ideal candidate isagile and well organised, ateam player,cool under pressure, loves variety and is up for the challenges and compensates of working in a multi-eventcreative artscontext. KEY FUNCTIONS located on an agreed Festival marketing strategy, plan, and budget: »Planning: With Marketing Lead, develop a critical path and budget for production of print and online publications and adhere to these once approved. »Research and Resource Management: Take charge of all matters relating to the research, gathering and management of all resource materials necessary to service the promotional, publicity and publication requirements of the 2022 New Zealand Festival and other events as required. »Production of Written Content: Produce high quality, on-brand written content for all print publications, owned and paid channels including writing for the Festival website, email campaigns and digital outputs as required. »Production of Publications + Print Advertising: Compile, produce and manage production of the Festival programme brochure, all event programmes and all other Festival publications. supervise production of print advertising (posters, flyers, etc) and miscellaneous communications as required with support of Marketing Coordinator. »Relationship Management: Effectively contact with internal and external stakeholders during all stages of production process. »Professional Team Player: capability to work in a high-pressure collaborative environment, remain level-headed and juggle competing priorities. Work hours may vary day-to-day and flexibility (particularly during Festival times) is essential.
