The Maori Health Lead function is a newly created position designed to lead the design and continuing delivery of services and programmes that will better deliver to our Maori customer needs. One of the key focus areas will be to lead and facilitate the planning, design and implementation of the health service programme for Maori to ensure the appropriate services are available. This is a senior leadership abilities function requiring active engagement, collaboration, and support for the development of culturally appropriate services.
This is a great opportunity to lead and facilitate the planning, design and implementation of the ACC health services development programme for Maori to ensure we have the appropriate services available to best meet the needs of Maori. What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function:
   » You will have significant practice in Maori health and service design
   » Proven practice in health service strategy, design and delivery functions in the health sector
   » Design, purchasing and contract management practice with Kaupapa Maori health services
   » Senior level practice in leading and implementing Maori and cultural development frameworks
   » Good knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga with a deep knowledge of Maori culture, values alongside strong Iwi networks
   » Strong Maori networks across public and private sectors
   » Strong senior level stakeholder management, with demonstrated practice influencing decisions with continuous improvement approaches.
   » Excellent verbal, written and presentation expertise and the capability to connect with your wider Whanau, iwi and communities
