ACC is increasing its investment in M?ori focussed injury avoidance activities together with implementing an ambitious Injury avoidance Strategy. We have a great newly created opportunity to join us as our Benefits Lead – M?ori, this function sits within our Strategic Investment Team. In this function you will work in a Tiriti-centric partnership with the Tauiwi Healthy Consensual Relationship Benefits and Monitoring Lead to implement a benefits and monitoring framework, including managing contracts with external measurement specialists. You will work collaboratively with the M?ori Injury avoidance team and the wider Customer Systems and Intelligence group to provide Kaupapa M?ori and culturally responsive research and evaluation leadership abilities specific to ACC’s customer practice and in doing so supports ACC’s strategic direction. Some of the important mahi you will be involved in the following: » Lead a portfolio of M?ori benefits and monitoring activities which contribute toa new work programme (Oranga Whakapapa/Healthy and Consensual Relationships (HCR)) aligned to ACC’s vision of an Aotearoa New Zealand, free from family and sexual violence. » This will involve engaging with key stakeholders, maintaining oversight of a number of projects, and ensuring authority and credibility in all stages of the process of benefits and monitoring scoping, commissioning and dissemination. As the prosperous Benefits Lead – M?ori, you will be: » energetic, motivated and carry an agile and innovative mind-set » a confident and courageous M?ori leader » practiced in Kaupapa M?ori research and evaluation » good knowledge of TeReoM?ori and tikanga with a deep knowledge of M?ori culture, values, political and social systems » an excellent communicator with strong relationship management expertise across a wide variety of stakeholders, gaining their trust and respect. We offer an attractive income $112k to $140k depending on practice, plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies.
