At Te Tahuhu o te Matauranga – Ministry of Education, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to akonga and whanau. We help shape the policies, settings and performance of the education system for early learning, schooling and tertiary. We do this by building relationships and knowledge the needs of those who receive our services. Mo tenei turanga – About this function Reporting to the Support Manager you will never have two days that are the same. Working Monday to Friday in a busy office, you will take on the function with enthusiasm and your organisation and planning skills will be second to none. Your calm and professional demeanour will shine through even when things are extremely busy and have conflicting priorities. This is a varied function in a fast-paced environment. Key tasks include and are not limited to the following: » Reception and concierge services » Answering all incoming calls » Meeting and event co-ordination » Processing travel requests » Vehicle fleet management » Logging building maintenance requests/liaising with contractors » General office administration support Mohou ake – About you If you are a dynamic self-starter with the capability to build great working relationships with a wide variety of people, enjoy being the face of an organisation, have exceptional customer service and a brilliant phone manner then this function is definitely for you.
