BioGro certified since 2006 OFNZ makes an organic range of high-impact seasonal and personalised freeze-dried snacks supplements meals and drinks utilising ingredients fresh from onsite garden. Listing description We have a vacancy for seasonal and full-time market gardeners to work in our onsite organic gardens; currently five tunnel greenhouses outdoor beds and connected facilities such as the composting area. We primarly grow fruits vegetables herbs and spices in both summer and winter seasons all of which are delivered to our onsite food production facility for further processing. tasks & Job responsibilities: » Implementing the agreed seasonal planting plan provided by OFNZ management » Working on each stage of crop production including: » Tracebility standards » Composting » Order cleaning keeping tidy and ensure proper use of equipment materials tunnel houses and surrounding spaces » Record keeping » Maitaining organic standards all over all aspects of crop productionRequirements: » significant certificate (level 4 or above) and/or a minimum of one-year hands-on work practice (home internship or volunteer work is acceptable) » capability to work independently and in a team » Self-motivated positive flexible detail-oriented » Position is phisically demandingadvantages: » Full-time permanent position - AND - Seasonal position available » Competetive income commensurate with education and work practice » everyday transport in / out from workplace to Te Anau is provided » Growing team with possibility for job development and growth » Beautiful natural surroundings Positions: 1 Pay: $24 - $28 Skills:
