You'll be someone who lives and breathes software development and enjoys building design-led software using a wide variety of technologies as well as the capability lead a small dedicated team.
What you’ll be doing:
You will play a key function within the wider Information technology group and deliver the product vision across complex multi-platform environments. Working closely with other designers developers across multi-disciplinary teams you'll ensure the products we develop are scalable, adaptable and ultimately improve the wellbeing of NZ's vulnerable citizens.

   » Information technology is desirable if you have practice of working with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps.
   » A strong team player who takes pride and ownership of their work.
   » The capability and desire to lead and mentor.
   » A self-starter/ completer.
   » Excellent development practice in Java11 using a range of techologies including the Spring Framework , legacy Java frameworks and a range of other Java related libraries, frameworks and build environments.
   » practice with Git, Subversion, Eclipse, Weblogic is a must.
   » practice with Oracle database, Linux systems, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, and Jenkins is an advantage.
