Our Privacy team works hard to support ACCs strategic intention to improve the way we protect personal information and to continuously grow and maintain a proactive privacy culture. We look for opportunities to improve systems and processes to manage risk and work to ensure privacy is designed and embedded into business processes, projects, Information technology systems, and applications.Mo tenei turana mahi – About this function This newly created function in our Privacy team is first and foremost a people focused function. You will lead a dedicated team that works to deliver effective, high-quality privacy advice and services across ACC. You’ll be focused on developing and growing team capcapability with responsibility for frameworks, practices, and advisory outputs. You’ll be managing workflow and leading operational transformation as well as keeping an eye on continuous improvement of systems and processes. Reporting to the Head of Privacy and contributing as a member of the Privacy leadership abilities team, you’ll also add value at a strategic level. ACCs Privacy function is strongly supported by senior leadership abilities, and you’ll be joining a dynamic, well-resourced team tasked with leading and growing the highest standard of care of personal information and privacy. Ko wai koe – About you You’ll be an practiced people leader with strong coaching and mentoring expertise. You’ll have an intrinsic motivation to support people to do their best work, using data and insights to achieve results. You’ll bring strong interpersonal expertise with the capability to make pragmatic decisions in complex and/or challenging situations. Your background will include significant practice leading a specialist function, ideally from a large and complex environment. Were at the beginning of an exciting chapter here at ACC. We have a relatively new CE, Board and leaders that bring excellent practice from across the public sector. You’ll be a joining highly motivated team that work at the heart of what ACC does working for kiwis, our customers and ensuring we handle the significant information we hold about them appropriately. The base income range for this function is $114,022 $160,972 with appointment depending on expertise and practice. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
