Role Overview: The Project & Design Engineer role is essential in managing our projects, ensuring customer needs and expectations are met. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to prepare proposals, and a strong proficiency in practical engineering. The successful applicant will manage projects, collaborate with teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensure timely completion within budget. Responsibilities: » Communicate effectively with customers, actively identifying and coordinating business opportunities. » Prepare proposals to provide prompt, professional, and friendly service to customers. » Demonstrate a high level of practical engineering skills and proficiency. » Produce accurate drawings (2D AutoCAD/3D Solidworks) with attention to detail, considering manufacturing practices and budget requirements. » Manage projects and maintain communication with teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve milestones and delivery dates within budget. » Proficient use of Solidworks. » Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience. Requirements: » Proficient in Solidworks, Inventor 3D, Fusion, or CAD. » Creative thinker capable of autonomous work. » Willingness to challenge ideas and engage in open discussions. » Strong verbal and written communication skills. » Confidence for customer-facing responsibilities, including site visits. » High level of IT skills and abilities. » Highly organized and adaptable to established business systems and processes. » Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
