The Operations Group Risk and Compliance team facilitates first line risk and compliance activities within the Operations Group. We work in partnership with operational teams to help them identify and manage risks in line with ACC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. We are seeking for a new Risk and Compliance Manager to join our busy team. As a Risk and Compliance Manager you will actively facilitate risk and compliance management within the Operations group. Your responsibilities will include the following: » Engaging with operational teams and assisting them to identify, analyse, assess and treat risks » Work alongside business stakeholders to embed and maintain good risk management practises that inform decision making and support performance » Quality assurance of risk registers, controls, treatment plans and compliance activities » Analysis and reporting on risks and risk management activities » Completing reviews as part of the annual compliance plan » Monitoring and reporting on progress with treatments and actions arising from risk and compliance activities » Facilitating the implementation of the Enterprise Risk and Compliance maturity plan initiatives within the Operations Group We are seeking for an practiced risk professional, with a mix of the following expertise: » First line of assurance, hands on practice, preferably in a large, complex operational environment » capability to engage with customers across the organisation » A trusted advisor capable of providing effective challenge and support in the delivery of good practise risk management » capability to analyse risk information and provide actionable insights » capability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to present information in the format most appropriate for your audience What will you get in return? » Annual income between $110k – $140k, depending on practice, plus 9% superannuation » Varied function with room to make a significant contribution to the success of the Group » Work with a supportive team within a changing operational environment Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
