With continued growth and an organisational change programme underway this national business needs to engage a senior level supply chain professional to undertake a general review of its inventory management systems and processes. With some process automation and centralised ordering activities having commenced rapid growth dictates the need for a deep dive into processes to ensure risk is minimised with supply, demand and stock level issues. practice You will have a good knowledge of inventory management and the management of supply chain risk and be adept at reviewing systems and processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement and make subsequent recommendations. Of value will be your capability to advise on strategic inventory management, inventory policy, and how to establish systems and processes to onboard a growing, high volume and complex consumables inventory. Additionally, you must be able to build strong relationships within the supply chain team and across the business and have a consultative, calm, and facilitative style that engenders cooperation and a high level of engagement.
