The purpose of this position is to provide a safe and caring environment for all students within the Hostel complex. The Hostel Supervisor is required to support the Hostel manager and to ensure the needs of the students are met and the hostel runs according to policy. The Hostel Supervisor shall promote Te Haahi Mihinare. Experience Required » Experience working with students in a residential and educational setting. » A sound level of computer literacy with good keyboard skills. » Ability to effectively carry out organizational planning. » Full driver license. » Current First Aid Certificate would be a big advantage. » Clear Ministry of Justice vetting. Key Duties » Assisting the Hostel manager. » Pastoral care of students. » New wh?nau orientation. » Assist in student administration. » Implement restorative meetings. » Assist in Planning and Review. » Assist in development and leadership of senior students as a mentor. » Promote Tikanga M?ori and the Anglican faith. This is a shift rostered full time position at 40 hours/week.
