He angit?tanga: The opportunity
This Senior Technical Delivery Advisor position supports the Waterfront Placemaking team and Head of Placemaking by assuming responsibility for the management of the logistical requirements of the delivery of all major and large-scale events that take place in areas under the organisation's control - specifically within the Head of Placemaking's areas of responsibility. This mainly relates to externally organised events but will include activations staged by Eke Panuku, ensuring a programme of events and attractions, particularly for the Wynyard Quarter, which draws Aucklanders and our visitors to its city centre waterfront

You will supervise the prosperous staging of events in coordination with development and regeneration on the waterfront, through managing the needs and expectations of event organisers, Auckland Council and regulatory requirements. You will support with event expertise, planning and logistics and providing a high quality of service.
To be considered for this great opportunity, you will meet the following Requirements:
   » Production management practice in delivering live events and creative sector projects.
   » Strong expertise of New Zealand events industry and creative sector, ideally Auckland events.
   » practice in the management of site requirements, scheduling, power, sound and audio-visual components.
   » Confident customer service manner.
   » Proven capability to develop and maintain networks and relationships.
   » expertise of Health & Safety, emergency and incident planning preferable.
   » capability to deliver events requirements and projects on time and under pressure.
