Our Institute of Education programmes cover the spectrum of Graduate and Postgraduate professional education pathways in Education and Educational Psychology. We are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support the teaching within the Educational Psychology programme in Te Kura o Te M?tauranga/Institute of Education. This is a two-year fixed term contract position from January 2022- December 2024. Given the nature of this position (two-year fixed-term contract) the location can be negotiated.
You will need either a significant doctoral degree, or advanced qualifications and registration as a psychologist with the NZPsychBoard (Education Scope of Practice). You will have demonstrated competence in working in the educational psychology field and have the capability to work effectively with M?ori and facilitate educational psychology courses encompassing M?ori worldviews and framework. You will be able to provide evidence of contemporary knowledge and expertise of best practice in teaching and educational psychology, including the capability to facilitate indigenous enhanced educational psychology courses.
