Te Mana o Rangit?huais a five-year MBIE Endeavour-funded research programme, co-led by Ng?ti Kuri and Auckland Museum. The Research Coordinator will support the Research Manager and Programme Manager ofTe Mana o Rangit?huato fulfil their responsibilities to theTe Mana o Rangit?huaprogramme and the Auckland Museum Research Strategy. This is a full-time and fixed term function.

   » Demonstratedpractice in project administration and coordination
   » Commitment to the values of Ng?ti Kuri and of Auckland Museum
   » Strong attention to detail and accuracy
   » A passion for working in a cross functional team environment
   » Strong time management expertise with the proven capability to multi-task and work within tight timeframes
   » An capability to make sense of information from a range of sources, and to know when and how to elevate issues (and possible solutions) as needed
   » Prior practice working in a scientific research environment is highly desirable
   » Proven effective written and verbal communication expertise
   » practice in working with multidisciplinary, multi-institutional projects
   » practice with providing administrative support to financial processes
   » Prior practice in research and working in a research environment would be beneficial
