Senior/Policy Analyst - EmploymentJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »Drive transformational change across the Employment Sector. »Fast paced Policy Team within a busy, diverse, and friendly Branch. »Immediate Start available – Permanent function - $75k-$130k The Organisation Public Sector Client looking for motivated Senior Policy Analysts and Policy Analysts to join the Employment Policy Teams. The team focuses on improving employment and wellbeing results and supporting people into sustainable employment, and leading and working on policies that make a difference for underprivileged people in the labour market. The function • As a key member of the team, you will be working both across the Ministry and with a range of agencies and stakeholders to support this mission. • Responsible for providing or contributing to clear, well-reasoned, and politically neutral advice on employment-related issues. You will also be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and the community, working collaboratively on projects both within the Ministry and across other agencies, bringing together evidence to draw conclusions. • Work closely with Service delivery groups and policy teams to deliver fit for purpose Policy end to end, from Development stages through to Operational Implementation. • Additional responsibilities include providing or contributing to advice on complex issues with minimal support, building relationships and leading engagement with stakeholders, both internally and outside of the Ministry, and helping to build the capcapability of people in the team, including supporting junior staff on their projects.
